Staff and residents had a brilliant afternoon at Troutbeck Care Home when they held an Alice in Wonderland themed Tea Party.  Some of the staff wore fancy dress and we had a fabulous Cheshire cat cake made by our talented activities lady.

Rosedale Care Home in Catterick Garrison have been looking at new ideas of things to do in the home during this period of lockdown and one of the great ideas we had was to hold a weekly coffee morning. We held our first one in March and our residents had a fabulous time.  We started off

Thank you so much to Brookside Garden Centre for donating all these gorgeous flowers for our residents at Hope Green. This has really cheered everyone up and lifted everyone's spirits

At Carmel Lodge we are really getting into the swing of things for April. Starting with our Easter celebrations baking chocolate Easter nests and an Easter egg hunt. More to the end of April we will be planting our cress and having a wine and cheese tasting afternoon.

Lovely afternoon at Batley Hall featuring afternoon tea courtesy of Fox`s biscuits. Thoroughly enjoyed by residents and staff. Lots of comfort biscuit favourites for everyone, loads of happy memories and smiley conversation.

World Harmony Day reminds us of inclusivity and having a place to belong. Here at White Rose Lodge we want to remind people of their importance and worth. Therefore we created a couple of activities to invite social interaction.

The Belvedere recently gained a new resident, Bobby the budgie.

Here at Earsdon Grange Care Home in Whitley Bay we have been overwhelmed by the support and generosity of our local taxi firm and Greggs. 

A huge thank you to our local KFC who so generously refused to accept payment from our Home Manager Anjaleena at Deepdene Care Home last week when she placed a large food order for staff members to thank them for their hard work.

Parksprings Care Home have launched a community challenge for Easter. Our residents have invited locals to email pictures of their Easter creations to be judged and a display created for our residents to enjoy. Get crafting and good luck!

Residents at Bowerfield Court made some lovely flower arrangements for our Mother's Day celebration.

Easter celebrations are underway at Bowerfield Court and lots of arts and craft sessions are planned. The residents made sock bunnies this week. 

This is a very difficult time for everyone, and we'd like to thank all of our residents and families for their support during this time, and an extra-special thank you to all of our staff across the board who have continued to work tirelessly to serve the needs of our residents.

Our residents at Thorntree Mews Care Home in Falkirk are keeping active and happy, throughout this difficult time. A large selection of plants arrived from a local garden centre, Klondyke Garden Centre, which were delivered to the home on Sunday 29th March.

Hope Green Care Home celebrated National Wear a Hat Day last week.
