Home shopping at Batley Hall has taken on a new meaning with the introduction of the homes new mobile shop. Lots of goodies for residents and staff to enjoy on a daily basis.

Happy International Nurses Day 2020 we value the care & dedication of each and every one of our Nurses. Thank you for your hard work.

Kents Hill Care Home Manager, Catherine has been going back to her mums roots who was a hairdresser and has been cutting and styling the residents hair today, they truly appreciated it and it instantly made them feel better in themselves. 

Staff decorated the conservatory on Easter Sunday with all the wonderful drawings and banners the residents had created throughout the week. 

The day was filled with music, dancing and laughter and lots of cake and chocolate. 

Astor Court and Lodge Care Home on Lamb Street in Cramlington were delighted to get a very special parcel from the pupils of Whyting Middle School and some fabulous letters and drawings which we took around to the residents so that they could see you'd been thinking of us during this time.

Carolyn, Carer at Glennie House Care Home braves the shave on Monday 18th May to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support. Please see below link to Carolyn's go fund me page.

We have been spending a lot of April working on decorating our garden, making the most of the lovely sunshine. 

Residents have made some lovely wind chimes which we coloured and painted birds on to hang in the garden.

Lovely surprise today at Cavendish Court with a smashing gift from our local Waitrose – magazines, orchids and hand wash. Thank you so much for your kind thoughts from all at Cavendish Court. 

We all know that hand washing is key at this unprecedented time and Claire our Home Manager made up a little ditty to help us wash our hands.

First we were afraid, we were petrified

Belmont House on High Street, Starbeck wanted to design a banner for the home. The activities team designed the banner and with help from the residents in Promenade Suite this was painted. We have concentrated on the colour blue to support the NHS. 

Here at Earsdon Grange we have been so delighted with all of the lovely community spirit and wanted to say thank you to let them know how much we appreciate them.

We were really thankful to receive this lovely delivery to our home. A local family who are members of Burton Girls Brigade baked some delicious cakes for our residents and staff.  It really brightened our day and we are so touched that they were thinking about us. 

Bowerfield Court and Bowerfield House would like to say a big thank you to Susan Butler who has kindly donated 50 mask comforters. These support general face masks by relieving the pressure of the elastic on ears.

Residents at Bowerfield Court have created bird houses to hang in the gardens at the home. They enjoyed painting them and are looking forward to seeing the birds enjoy them too. 

Thank you for the special delivery of chocolate brownies at Hope Green Care Home from a family of one of our residents. They got delivered with a lovely message of thanks. 

Some more lovely home made cakes donated to our staff by ‘Carol from Heathrow Airport’.  Today were some very delicious butterfly cakes and a banana sponge cake. 

Thank you Carol for your home baked treats which were really appreciated by the staff on duty.

Sandra Senior, Care Manager at Cavendish Court Care Home showed her appreciation of her teams hard work and thank them for the fabulous job they are doing by handing out personalised pens to every member of staff. Such a thoughtful gift.

A huge thank you to these Pangbourne residents for their generosity and support. They were able to organise the delivery of some additional PPE for our staff members with 2 boxes of face visors direct from Bloc Blinds in Northern Ireland.
