The staff at Bowerfield Court would like to thank Royale Curry for the delicious meal that arrived for all staff members last Friday 22nd May.  The staff enjoyed the lovely meal. This curry was courtesy of the new care company which was a gift to the key workers. 

A big thank you to RR agency for their kind thoughts. RR arranged for  an Indian cuisine buffet delivery which was lovely. RR contacted Bowerfield Court and a lunch date was put in the diary for 1pm on Friday 23rd May.   

We had a lovely surprise delivery from Blackhall Community Assoication when they arrived with care packs for all of the staff at Yohden Care Complex. Thank you so much for thinking of us we really do appreciate it.

Kirsty, Activities Coordinator and Ana, Manager at Abingdon Court  presented staff at the home with a lovely hamper and thank you poem as part of Carers Week. 

Here at Field View Care Home on Hesleden Road we have missed all of our relatives who usually come to visit us but our residents have had some great calls and video calls with you all.  Here our two of our ladies enjoying chats with their families on the cordless phones at the home.

We were surprised and delighted to receive our doorstep parcel from Supplies for Key workers who dropped off a hamper of goodies at Ashfield Court on Tewit Well Road in Harrogate.

Thank you so much for your lovely donation we really do appreciate it.

We have had many messages of thanks from friends, family and the local community. Like everyone else we just want to help where we can.

Our residents are managing to fill their time easily at Brunel House.

Art is a fantastic stress reliever, its relaxing and enables us to channel our creative side.

The residents at Ashfield Court on Tewit Well Road in Harrogate had a lovely surprise when the ice cream van popped by to see them.

We love hearing stories from yesteryear at Willowdene Care Home on Lizards Lane, Sedgefield and VE Day proved to be an amazing day for that.

Astor Care Complex on Lamb Street in Cramlington were delighted to receive a wonderful donation from local firm Amcor in Cramlington who kindly made and donated visors for every team member at the home.

We couldn't wait for VE Day at Garden  Hill Care Home, We had a garden party inside the home with cakes and tea and bunting and had a sing along in the coffee shop.

A community initiative has seen young people in Slough helping to keep up the spirits of residents in care homes across the town, including here at Windmill Care Centre.

Today in craft club we painted some porcelain gnomes.We had great fun and the residents were really enthusiastic and loved joining in with this activity. When all the gnomes are completed we are going to display them in our gardens as part of our summer garden project. 

A few of our residents at Willow Bank Nursing Home love gardening and talking about the different kind of flowers, so this week we decided to make the entrance of the home a make over.
