Everyone at Kings Court loves their new drum based activity.

They always manage to make a lot of noise but it is a great laugh and lots of fun.

Amber Court had a wonderful New Years Eve party for the people living with us, staff, and family and friends.

The evening was filled with joyous singing on karaoke, lots of dancing along, and our favourite drinks as we raised a glass to 2024.

Manorhey welcomed in the new year with a brilliant new years eve party, with live entertainment, a delicious buffet, and a glass of fizz or two.

Family and friends joined in on the celebrations as we entered 2024. Here's to a happy and prosperous year!

Chartwell Manor made the Berryfields News this week with their fabulous work they have been doing for Emmett’s Genies Charity. They helped create Christmas for their year-in-a-day event for critically ill children.

The people living with us at Bowerfield Court celebrated Anti-Bullying day which is a special event organised by the Anti-Bullying alliance group to raise awareness about the negative impacts of bullying, encourage people to stand up against discrimination and promote the importance of individual

Kings Court had a trip to the Swindon Arts Centre to visit their memory cinema. Those that went had a lovely experience! They had tea & coffee on arrival and then went into the cinema to watch ' Who Framed Rodger Rabbit'.

Everyone came together at Allingham House to enjoy a great fundraising coffee morning to raise money for Children in Need. It was the perfect opportunity to enjoy singing and dancing, whilst we had tea, coffee, and nibbles.

Poppy Display at Chartwell for Armistice Day

Chartwell Manor put on a lovely poppy display in their home to pay their respects on Armistice Day and Remembrance Sunday. It featured lots of meaningful items, and a jar for collections towards The Poppy Appeal.

Hope Green celebrated bonfire night on the 5th November. The people living with us had hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows, as well as a slice of traditional parkin.

Coplands care home celebrated Black History Month this week. Staff and some of the people living with us joined together for a celebration. There was a delicious buffet on offer for everyone to enjoy and decorations around the home.

Minster Grange had an amazing Halloween party. Colleagues, the people living with us, and family and friends all attended to celebrate the night. There was a lovely buffet from the kitchen and some tasty cakes.

The Severn Valley Railway

The Wharf had a magical day out on The Severn Valley Railway. The people living with us had a great time on the train. We stopped off at Highly Station and strolled to The Engine House Museum and restaurant.

Japanese Day at Princess Lodge

Princess Lodge had a great day celebrating Japanese culture. Colleagues and the people living with us dressed in traditional clothing and the kitchen team cooked a brilliant Japanese meal. This included chicken katsu curry and Japanese fluffy cheesecakes.

Glennie House celebrated their 18th birthday this week with residents and staff coming together to have a big party. Bobbie Dazzler provided first class entertainment, singing and dancing with the people living with us.

Mad Hatters Tea Party at Bridge House

Bridge House Care Home held a Mad Hatters tea party recently.

The people living with us wore mad hats that they had decorated, and staff dressed up as different characters. We had great entertainment, and our wonderful chef gave us an amazing afternoon tea which was as delicious.

The people who live with us had a wonderful day dressing up and taking part in activities. We also took time to remember loved ones lost to cancer and our brave warriors fighting it.

What a great day we had at the Dawlish Eat Festival this weekend. It was amazing to have an opportunity to celebrate food and introduce Hug on a Plate to the community.

Some of the people living with us at Bowerfield Court had a lovely day out visiting the Canal. They were able to watch the boats and the locals doing some fishing! Then we stopped off at the Red Lion to have a refreshing drink in the sunshine on our way back home.

It was the return of the Blackpool Illuminations Switch-On, so we took two of the ladies from Amber Court to watch the big switch on. They had so much fun, watching the lively Nickelodeon float parade, an illuminating firework display at the beachfront, and a breath-taking Tower light show.

Kings Court had a fantastic summer BBQ. The garden was buzzing with families, entertainers, food, drinks and laughter! Thank you to all who came and showed their support. The weather was beautiful as well.

Kents Hill care home enjoyed a lovely day out to Sothend on Sea. The weather was perfect for a walk along the promenade and the Beach. We even stopped off and had some lovely Fish and Chips. Everyone enjoyed their day and the fresh sea air.

Celebrating Yorkshire Day

We celebrated Yorkshire Day at Ashfield Court, it was a great day. Some of the people that live with us even made Yorkshire's white roses out of paper to decorate the home. They turned out brilliant. A fantastic day had by all.

Just Bowl has newly arrived at Amber Court. The people living with us are definitely loving it, everyone wants to give a go. We will also be planning for our Just Bowl tournament this August.

We celebrated World Photography Day at Allingham House by letting our creativity and imagination run free. The people living with us made beautiful and unique photo frames.

It was also the perfect time to reminisce, talk and laugh, enjoying a great time together.

We had a Hawaiian themed party at the home. The people living with us enjoyed a delicious BBQ lunch, a raffle and Roger came to entertain us all. We had so much fun and had a brilliant day overall.

Acorn House awards ceremony

At Acorn House we had our very own awards ceremony to show appreciation to all staff members within the home.The people living with us spent the previous month voting for staff members ensuring everybody got a certificate of appreciation and a small gift.

Wyndham Hall made some delicious homemade scones, which the people living with us then enjoyed later with some clotted cream and jam. It was a fun activity and they tasted great. Baking therapy at its finest.
