It was smiles all round this Friday at Hope Green as we put a special order in to the local Fish & Chip shop for our lunch. You just can't beat it! Comments included 'good chippy food doesn't get better than this' & 'what a treat'.

We had a huge celebration here at Clarendon Court, our resident Florence Hynes was 100 years old. Florence had a celebration outside on the patio with family and friends with lots of cake and a buffet. A very special day for a very special lady.

We are delighted to confirm that we are developing nine new care homes as part of our ambitious new build programme that’s already well underway. The current pipeline extends over the next three to four years with several homes in planning and development phases.

MMCG’s recent Leadership Conference was deemed a great success and the time and input of all who attended was greatly appreciated.

Last month we were delighted to welcome two new starters to the group’s senior management team – Laura Finlay and Daniel Turner-Naylor.

One of the heartwarming stories of this year at MMCG was the amazing friendship between schoolboy Harry Evans and Howgate House member George Spiby, 65.

The residents were delighted to do the lavender harvesting in the garden, while they were sharing happy memories and reminiscing. They enjoyed the smell, the colour, and the the tactile of the plants, a completely sensory stimulation experience!

In our art class we have residents who really excel, Joseph wanted to continue the jungle theme and came up with this elephant and tiger, which we all agree, he did an excellent job. Now thinking of his next subject, watch this space.

Here's our Amber Court staff, Hannah, Camille and Alice who entertained our residents with the Traditional Filipino"Tinikling" (bamboo dance) and the "Pandango sa ilaw" (Candle dance).

The residents joined last month to the celebrations of World Photo Day. The residents really enjoyed taking pictures of another resident in their favourite places all around Allingham House.

Staff and residents loved the ice cream van great to finish the day off.

We have been doing a number of crafts at Troutbeck including personalized button bags and silohette pictures. Residents have thoroughly enjoyed the crafting.

The staff at Hope Green were delighted with the amazing hamper made by one of our resident's family members as a token of appreciation for the care the team provided mum with. Thank you from everyone at the team at Hope Green.
