A huge thank you to all the Chefs and Cooks who took part in this years MMCG Master Chef 2024 cook-off!

After much deliberation and discussion, the judges decided on three out of the six colleagues who took part to put forward to the final awards ceremony on 13 June - they expressed how difficult it was to decide on the finalists, with only a few points between each dish.

Allison Frew, Group Head of Hospitality echoed the judges appreciation and said: "Thank you to all who took part and your continued dedication to providing wonderful food for the people who live with us.

This week Claremont Manor welcomed its first 3 residents: Jenni, Jean and Myra. All three are settling in well and enjoying the lifestyle program.

Jenni celebrated her birthday this week! Her family joined her for lunch, and she was surprised by a balloon and flowers from the Claremont Manor team.

Jean, surrounded by care workers and residents, beamed and said, "It's lovely to have so many friends around me." She's loving every moment and Myra is especially enjoying the food and dining experience.

On Wednesday evening, Bentley Grange hosted a Hug on a Plate taster session for those interested in living with us!

Everyone who attended had a fantastic time, enjoying the food created by our chefs, learning more about our Hug on a Plate initiative and engaging with our Bentley Grange team.

We have been celebrating Nutrition and Hydration Week across our homes...

We all had a great time learning interesting facts about the topic and making our very own mocktails.

A huge congratulations goes to four of our Home teams for achieving 'Good' results from recent Care Quality Commission (CQC) and Care Inspectorate inspections.

Kingsbury Court, Windmill Court and Highfield were inspected by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) - and rated 'overall good' and Thorntree Mews were inspected by the Care Inspectorate (Scotland) - and graded 'all 4's'.  

Last week, Bentley Grange hosted their open day...

The special day was filled with many fun activities and taster sessions, allowing everyone to see all that our brand-new care home has to offer and the person-centred care available.

We would also like to extend a big thank you to everyone who joined the event and welcomed our new team into the local community with open arms.
