We love painting and drawing at Clarendon Court and just look at the fantastic artwork created by our very own Jean. She is far too shy and modest to have her picture taken but is very happy to share her beautiful artwork with everyone.

We had a special furry visitor at Knights Court Nursing home #BunnyRaj who went around gifting all our residents an Easter egg and wishing them well. You should have seen the smiles on our residents faces and some very surprised ones also !

Residents and staff joined together to celebrate Nurse's Day. It was the perfect opportunity to express our gratitude to our nurses for their caring and professional work delivered to our residents every day.

Our very artistic residents creating their very own work of arts using buttons. We really love an afternoon of arts and crafts at Clarendon Court, always accompanied by cake and coffee of course!

On receiving the news of a tree for the Jubilee, our lovely residents were made up to hear of the two occasions coming together.

After a lot of consideration the residents opted for a colourful tree to brighten up their environment on this special occasion.

Bowerfield House had a great day celebrating National Nurses’ Day, we are very lucky to have some amazing nurse working at Bowerfield House. We celebrated by the residents signing a nurses card for our nurses thanking them for all the hard work they do.

This month Birch Heath Lodge celebrated National Nurses Day. The afternoon held a performance from Mark Whitby, who sang and entertained us with some of our favourite songs.

At Ashfield Court we enjoy many different activities such as, arts and crafts, music sessions, gardening and even fun exercise sessions.

We have been looking at photos of animals and holiday destinations the residents love reminiscing about holidays they have been on.

We all so love a sing a long

We had a great time at Alexandra, watching movies and eating popcorn!

We had a wonderful time making no bake cheesecakes. We had blueberry, strawberry and vanilla. Teamwork made for laughter as our residents worked together helping each other finish their tasks.

In the month of May, we celebrated Nita's birthday. Nita celebrated in style. 

We would like to wish her a very happy birthday! 

We celebrated International Nurses Day in our lounge with people living with us and staff. Our fantastic nurses each got a certificate, bottle of wine and other gifts. Our amazing kitchen team created some Blue and White cup cakes, which tasted lovely.

Supporting peoples independence is something that we like to achieve at our home and it is different from person to person but no matter what the task, they all come with their own sense of accomplishment. 

We wanted to do something special to celebrate the amazing nurses that we have at Buckingham House care home.  We all met outside for some refreshments and the home manager gave each of our nurses a gift to thank them for all the incredible work that they do.

International Nurses Day, such an important day when we celebrate all the amazing work all nurses do day in day out. 
We are so lucky to have exceptionally dedicated nurses working with us and today we would like to recognise them and thank them for all they do! 

Pets really bring joy to the hearts of the people living with us at Water Royd Care home.   Spending time with animals is so beneficial and something that we love happening here.  Everyone enjoyed a nice visit from our little furry friend Luna, and his buddy.

We were looking for new ideas for what we can sell out our upcoming spring fayre and we decided that we would try new activity.  We got some scarfs and the people living with using the tie dye process created some beautiful and unique designs.
