Cinco De Mayo

Every floor enjoyed celebrating Cinco De Mayo last week. We enjoyed watching the festival on the television and dancing away to the music whilst using our instruments to make some music. It was good fun to celebrate something different and explore different cultures. We enjoyed dressing up and enjoying each others company.

National Nurses Day at Manorhey

National Nurses Day was celebrated and enjoyed by our lovely, hardworking Nurses. They each had a gift from the home and a tea party organised for them to sit down, relax and unwind with some delicious food made by our kitchen staff.

Employee Of The Month Award

Our newly appointed Senior Carer Desi was recognised with Employee of The Month Award at Kents Hill Care Home. Desi took on her new role like fish to water, embracing new responsibilities and tasks with true professionalism and commitment. Well done, Desi, your hard work hasn’t gone unnoticed.

Easter Delivery

We had a special furry visitor at Knights Court Nursing home #BunnyRaj who went around gifting all our residents an Easter egg and wishing them well. You should have seen the smiles on our residents faces and some very surprised ones also !

May Day at Allingham

May Day is a festival celebrated in England and all across Europe since ancient times. It marks the middle way between spring and summer equinox.

The residents joined to this festival in the traditional way. During the morning, they made different sizes Maypoles that later on were displayed all around as a decoration to celebrate this day.

Nurse's Day at Allingham

Residents and staff joined together to celebrate Nurse's Day. It was the perfect opportunity to express our gratitude to our nurses for their caring and professional work delivered to our residents every day.

VE Day at Allingham

VE day is celebrated all over Europe every 8th May since 1945 to commemorate the end of the WWII in Europe. The residents and staff joined to the celebrations with a traditional VE Day party. Everyone enjoyed making their own Union Jack Flags and Bunting that was displayed all around the home.

Also, the residents enjoyed a traditional afternoon tea where cakes, biscuits, tea and coffee were served for everyone to enjoy.

Finally, the residents sang and danced the most popular songs in WWII from It's a long way to Tipperary to We'll meet again by Vera Lynn.

Nurses Appreciation Day at Howgate

For Nurse Appreciation Day our lovely residents got involved making thank you cards with Calligraphy writing presented with a bouquet of flowers and a gift. Suggestions of cup cakes and a cuppa our residents promoted to add a bit of sweetness to our nurses day.

A lot of love and appreciation flowed. A big thank you to the nurses all across the globe, we think your amazing !!

International Nurses Day at Bowerfield House

Bowerfield House had a great day celebrating National Nurses’ Day, we are very lucky to have some amazing nurse working at Bowerfield House. We celebrated by the residents signing a nurses card for our nurses thanking them for all the hard work they do. We also did them a little afternoon tea party which went down a treat, we decorated our house with banners and balloons, and we gave all the nurses a badge and certificate .

Each nurse received a gift from MMCG, a portable phone charge which was gratefully received .

International Nurses Day at Clarendon Court

Celebrating our wonderful nurses on International Nurses Day with Nozeco, themed cakes and a little goody bag of gratitude to say how much they are appreciated.
