International Nurses Day at Bowerfield House
Bowerfield House had a great day celebrating National Nurses’ Day, we are very lucky to have some amazing nurse working at Bowerfield House. We celebrated by the residents signing a nurses card for our nurses thanking them for all the hard work they do. We also did them a little afternoon tea party which went down a treat, we decorated our house with banners and balloons, and we gave all the nurses a badge and certificate .
Each nurse received a gift from MMCG, a portable phone charge which was gratefully received .

It's wonderful how friendships are formed between our staff and residents. It's important that we care about each other and we enjoy milestones regardless of our ages. This celebration was made complete by gathering flowers from our beautiful gardens and presenting them whilst sharing stories of driving to favourite places, even sunny drives to the coast for fish and chips
