Family Christmas Tree
This year's Christmas season is different for all of us due to the pandemic. Instead of doing the traditional Christmas tree decorations. We, the Amber Court staffs wanted to create something new and unique for everyone. Christmas is the celebration to keep our families connected in a special way during the season of joy. With this, everyone has an idea of hanging our family photos in the Christmas tree with colourful candy cane frames. From the staff to the relatives, we share a special together. Overall, we decided to call this special moment the FAMILY CHRISTMAS TREE.

Carol Concert
We were overjoyed by the turnout to our Carol Concert. Our residents had the most wonderful time welcoming friends and families to join us for carols, home made mince pies and mulled wine.
Christmas Pictures
We have decorated a small area of our Home to Take Special Christmas Pics of our Residents here at Troutbeck, we will be posting them off to families together with our hand decorated Christmas Cards. Everyone has loved seeing the Decorations go up.
Salvation Army Donations
We have been collecting donations for the Salvation Army in Keighley.
A big thank you to Yorkshire Cleaning and Maintenance for your kind donation of Toys and Games and also to Airdale Hospital for your donation of food and toiletries, and from our families we really appreciate it.

Dementia Bus
The dementia bus came to Minster Grange in November, staff relatives and visiting professionals enjoyed the experience. The feedback has been phenomenal and we are currently working on how we can implement new learnings into our home.

Thank You Cupcakes
We received some wonderful cupcakes from a relative of one of our late residents today.
Thank you so much, your mam often told us stories about the amazing cakes she baked over the years and this gesture touched us so much.

Christmas Card Decorating
It was the first of our Christmas activities today - it’s that time of year already! Our residents enjoyed making Christmas cards today ready to give to family and friends. They enjoyed using paint and adding some sparkly sequins!

Carmel's Art
One of our residents has a very talented husband who creates many pieces of art for his wives bedroom walls. This time he sketched a wonderful piece for our home which we have proudly framed. He is also collaborating with our activities team to design our Christmas card , which we will look forward to sharing with you.
