We had  a surprise visit  from the lovely people from the Ummah Welfare Trust a fabulous charity. They have kindly delivered additional PPE supplies  to the staff at Howgate House.

Easter is always a special time at Ashfield Court in Harrogate and this year we really missed the visits from the children coming into the home.

We are rapidly learning new skills at Windmill Court to ensure we can keep in touch with friends and family.

We received this beautiful knitted heart from Karen and her brother as a thank you to all staff members looking after the residents here at Furze Hill Lodge Care Home, particularly their mum Angela.

The Belvedere Care Home spent the day getting ready for the Easter weekend by decorating some beautiful home made cupcakes using buttercream and pretty rice paper flowers out in the garden. 

Audrey celebrated her 100th birthday this week at Skell Lodge Residential Home. 

Many Happy Returns. 

Ashfield Court Care Home on Tewit Well Road in Harrogate were delighted to receive a parcel from the children of Grove Road Primary School. 

Here at Clumber Court, we went on the mini bus to Pusto farm in March to see the sheep and lambs that had just been delivered.

Residents at Cavendish Court love the new themed area in the home where they can enjoy reminiscing about different era's including 50s,war and Gatsby, which are all topics chosen by the our residents.

The residents at Belmont House Care Home were delighted to receive postcards from Starbeck Primary School and Springwater School here in Harrogate. The children had written a personal message on the back of the postcards and made our residents feel part of our caring community.

Linda Berry, Team Leader at Minster Grange won a gorgeous bouquet of flowers and some chocolates and nominated them to Minster Grange to receive them. 

The chocolates have been shared with the residents and the flowers are on display for everyone to enjoy.

Here at Clarendon Court we have had a splendid Mad Hatters tea party. Our Chef and his assistant made a beautiful cake that was enjoyed by all and really did go in a flash. Carl our activities gentleman decorated our tearoom with all the lovely decorations  and table settings .

White Rose Lodge was delighted to welcome a group of 2-4 year olds from Cliffe House Nursery at the beginning of March. The news of their visit aroused excitement among the residents. Many of the residents gathered in anticipation for their arrival.

At Kents Hill Care Home we have many community links; its such a lovely support network.  During these difficult times that are sweeping across the world we have received much love from our local Schools/ Nurseries and Community. Rainbows are flooding through the door daily - 'there is

Our residents at Batley Hall Care Home in Batley, West Yorkshire had a lovely surprise this week when they received some letters through the post  from the students at Redbourne Upper School and Community College.

Birthday celebrations were in full swing to celebrate the special day of our lovely resident Angela. 

Staff and residents joined together for a special birthday afternoon tea with cake, presents and lots of singing which was enjoyed by everyone. 

Karen speak to her partner Richard using skype. Many residents have been able to connect with their family through Skype the past week and it has made a big difference.
