Musical Performance from Royal Academy Music

Cedar Court Care Home in Cranleigh had it's second interactive concert of the year in March from their young friends at the Royal Academy of Music . These Young Artist Musical Ambassadors, known as YAMA’s, are led  by Professor of Violin at the Royal Academy of Music, Chika Robertson of the music charity The Music Mind Spirit Trust and accompanied by the brilliant pianist Elizabeth Dockrell-Tyler. They have been putting  on fantastic Sunday afternoon concerts for residents, family and staff since 2018.

The home’s head of activities Michael Gains. Said “Not only do we get to hear some of the best young musicians in the country but we get to join in, too. Some of the MMCG homes residents  had ago at conducting ,while others played percussion or just enjoyed the wonderful performances from the students.
