Carers Appreciation Day
We celebrated Carers Appreciation Day, an opportunity to say Thank You to our carers, for the dedication and incredible care and support that they provide to our residents every day.

Decorating The Lounge
The manager and staff worked hard to redecorate the residents lounge so the lovely residents could relax in a vibrant coloured room.

worker Bee of The Month
Congratulations to Donna our Worker Bee of the month. The certificate was presented by Kirsty Randal Peripatetic manager. Well done Donna, we hope you enjoy your fizz and beautiful flowers.
Live Performance
We had a wonderful afternoon sat in the sunshine and singing along with Emma James. We couldn't think of a better way to spend the day than sat with friends, enjoying refreshments whilst being entertained. Just perfect.

Trifles and Fruit Salad
The husband of one of our residents has very kindly made some trifles and a beautiful fresh fruit salad for everyone. The residents and staff would like to say a huge thank you let them know that we really appreciated it and enjoyed the fruit salad at lunch time- it was so refreshing to have in this heat and we're looking forward to trifle for tea tonight.
Music Session
The biggest activity request here at Clarendon Court is music, whether karaoke, sing-a-long or a music quiz, we have lots of good voices here. On the 16th we held a karaoke session, wow great response a lovely afternoon had by all.

Outside Space
The good weather gave us an opportunity to use our outside space, eating and holding activities. A great way to get some lovely fresh air and shaded sunshine.

Brunch
Residents enjoyed a special brunch this morning which consisted of waffles, pancakes, fresh berries, bananas, Nutella and maple syrup. Everyone chose their own toppings and washed it down with a glass of cold orange, a perfect snack for this weather.
A Day At The Beach
With glorious sunshine and everything we needed to make our own Day At The Beach at Hope Green we made the most of it and enjoyed a great time together. Favourites were definitely the inflatable flamingo and monkey and of course our Duck Game was a huge success. We loved lining up the ducks to spray them with water jets, trying to make them jump into the paddling pool below. What a good job we had plenty of towels to hand too as the water didn't always go exactly where we wanted it to! Fun in the sun with plenty of games on offer made it a day to remember.

Cranleigh Carnival
Members of our team attended the recent Cranleigh Carnival June 2021. It was an amazing day and the Cedar Court stand was a busy one. We raised £120 for the Alzheimer's Society, with a tombola and an excellent selection of prizes, which was enjoyed by all the visitors to the stand.
We were extremely proud to display the lovely arts and crafts created by our residents during the pandemic.
The Town Mayor and Mayoress paid a visit to the Cedar Court stand and we were delighted when they both accepted an invitation to Garden Party.
