Our Interactive Activity Table has arrived !
We are absolutely thrilled to have taken delivery of an OMNI Interactive Table this week which we have already started putting to good use.
The wide choice of activities and games on the table are designed to connect everyone through touch, sight and sound, whilst the projections help individual to unwind and relax, improving mood and emotional stability.
We can't wait to share with everyone how we get on with it over the coming months.

Christmas wreath making at the home ready for Santa coming to visit us. We started with the round base and added on the ribbons, tinsel and bows which we liked ready to hang on our doors in December.

Learning The Accordion
We had a lovely day in November learning how to play the accordion. The residents had such a chuckle trying to play this and the sounds were interesting. We all took turns in trying to press the buttons and play along to some songs we knew. It was much harder than it looked.

Movie Afternoon
As the winter weather sets in we are hosting more movie afternoons at the home and in November we enjoyed a film of resident’s choice. We had bags of popcorn and sweets along with a cuppa as we all watched the movie on Brambles and enjoyed reminiscing about when we first seen the film in the old picture houses.

As we say good by to Bonfire Night and Guy Fawkes where our residents enjoyed a beef broth for lunch and then mini hotdogs and ginger cake for dinner, followed by a fireworks display.
