Pancake Day
Celebrating pancake day, our residents really enjoyed pancakes made by our chef. Choice of topping include cream, golden syrup and traditional lemon.

Rock and Roll
This afternoon at Manorhey our residents enjoyed one of their favourite performers who entertained them with a variety of rock and roll classics via a virtual concert. The residents had a brilliant time dancing the afternoon away with residential friends and staff members.

Valentine's Day At The Moors
We had a lovely Valentine's Day here at The Moors, with residents drawing hearts, making cards and having a lovely lunch with the tables decorated beautifully. Our favourite activity was passing round the balloon and whoever caught it shouted out something they loved. We had everything from family, to chocolate, to Pately Bridge!

Shrove Tuesday
Shrove Tuesday was a huge laugh here at The Moors! We ate delicious pancakes for lunch and the brilliant chefs even made us some extras to have a bit of fun with! We had pancake 'races', competitions for the highest flip and the best catch just to name a few - even the staff got involved!
Spa Day
As this week was national spa week we invited our residents to come and enjoy spa treatments of their choice, some of the pamper treatments included wash and blow drys, manicures, hand and facial massages which each resident chose by preference. What made it even more special was indulged in a glass or two of prosecco and strawberries, we can certainly say today was thoroughly enjoyed and very much appreciated by all here at Manorhey.

Mental Stimulation
Today we have enjoyed mental stimulation word challenge game. We thought of a word and then had to create as many words as we could from the chosen word, this certainly got us thinking and working our brains to the max. Along side this challenge, as you can imagine there were definitely some laughs our best score of the day was a whopping 16 words.

A Beautiful Morning
What a beautiful morning in Manorhey garden, looking for our furry friends the squirrels for their daily morning visit. Spring is almost definitely on its way.
A Week At Allingham
The residents enjoyed the last week having special activities to celebrate Chinese New Year, they were decorating the home with dragon bunting and also created beautiful illustrations that have been displayed around the home.
We know how important it is to keep in touch with the different community groups. The residents enjoyed singing songs with the children from the nursery next door in the garden.

Valentine's Day
We at Highfield enjoyed Valentine’s Day with lovely music, karaoke, dance, and a little tea party with variety of Valentine cupcakes. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the day and can’t wait for our next celebrations.

A Big Thank You
Thank you to all the staff at The Westbourne for their hard work and a hearty welcome to our new team members. A special hello from myself, Kathryn Dee and Lisa Kerr as the new Home and Deputy Manager.
Along with the cake, staff had a selection of chocolates, crisps, hand gels and hand creams as a treat for going above and beyond.
