
Halloween Party at Birch Heath
For the Halloween Party we had Entertainment from one of our regular Entertainers. The kitchen team created a Halloween lunch and made a Halloween high tea with spooky cakes and desserts for everyone to enjoy. We also played Games and finished the day with a bit of karaoke.

Pumpkin Competition
These are our pumpkins we carved for the Morrisons competition. We chose the sugar skull and the witch.

Getting our 'Oomph' on.
Giving it a little 'Oomph'. Another Oomph wellness class in action! We just love getting our 'Oomph' on each and every week to support the enhancement of mental, physical and emotional wellbeing through innovative exercise and activity solutions. We strive to enable those living with us to live life to the full. We have one life, so let's give it some Oomph!.

Troutbeck's Halloween Celebrations
Here at Troutbeck we held a big celebration for Halloween and we were delighted with our Halloween display.
We had fun embellishing our pumpkins, we decided to make them sparkly and glamorous. Norma enjoyed jazzing up the pumpkins, she is always a great sport and enjoys getting involved at any opportunity.

We also have poppies available at reception for residents, relatives and staff to donate to.

Hug A Bear Day
Bowerfield House had another great fun day celebrating hug a bear day, staff and residents loved giving our massive teddy bear Ted a big hug.
Ted the teddy bear made everyone smile and cheered every one up. Ted was all hugged up and later went for an afternoon nap.
Bowerfield House had a busy week and are looking forward to next weeks activities.
Bonfire Night at Carmel Lodge
Our residents really enjoyed watching the garden fireworks on Bonfire Night at Carmel Lodge. We had a lovely night enjoyed by all residents and staff.

Trick Or Treat at Ashmead
Trick or Treat was in full swing during Halloween at Ashmead. The Activities team dressed appropriately and toured the whole home offering chocolate and biscuit bars on a specially decorated mobile trolley.

Cedar Court Residents created a lovely pair of 'Guys' for the Cranleigh Bonfire competition!
There is no end to the talents of our residents at Cedar Court, they take on every challenge set them! They were very keen to take part in the Cranleigh competition for the best 'Guy' to be thrown on the local bonfire. Our residents who are living with dementia created the beautiful artwork with paper spinning wheels, which they all thoroughly enjoyed. The 'Guys' were created by some of the people living at Cedar Court, assisted by Kathryn our activities assistant. A big thank you goes out to Kathryn’s parents for making the Paper Mache heads.

Pumpkin Painting Station
Not only did our residents enjoy preparing for Halloween with pumpkin painting, but our staff did to!
We set up our pumpkin painting station for the staff to show off their artistic skills ,they had a lot to live up to after seeing all the fantastic colourful decorations produced by the people living with us, but everyone was suitably impressed by all of these creations🎃👻
