There was lots of spooky goings on at Yohden Care Complex for Halloween.  We all got dressed up in scary masks or painted our faces and the residents joined in with the staff.  We had a lovely delivery of carved pumpkins and cakes from children of the staff at the home which was lovely and lots of Halloween Fun.

We were delighted to receive a gift hamper from Phil and the Directors at the home in October as a thank you for all of the hard work we do.  The Head Office fairies snuck in and dropped off three of these fabulous hampers with lots of treats for each unit to share over a cuppa with the residents.  There were biscuits, cakes, popcorn, sweets, chocolate, crisps, latte's and cappuccino's aswell as hot chocolate.

The children of Acorn Day Nursery are a close community link for Kents Hill Care Home during 'normal' times; joining us for sports days, various activities and having a visit from Santa within the home.  We were very excited that we were able to arrange a Halloween Spider hunt for the children in the garden whilst the residents sat inside and watched from the windows.  There were lots of happy, smiling faces and hands being 'felt' through the window panes; an emotional reunion for many.
