Ice Cream Van
We were visited by a local ice cream van yesterday, nothing beats an ice cream on a very sunny day! We all enjoyed our fabulous ice cream cones, some with sauce and some with sprinkles.

Reminiscing Bingo
Sylvia and Owen really enjoyed our afternoon playing reminiscing bingo, the residents loved speaking about their life and their memories
Ball Games
Yesterday morning we had lots of different ball games including Basket ball and bowling.

Bloomin Lovely
The arrival of the warm weather has got us all thinking about the additional time we are now spending outdoors and so we all decided to get busy and add some new colour into the garden.
Rita showed off her DIY skills by helping to put the planters together. Several of the people living with us planted flowers and vegetables and we are all really delighted with how well they are growing already.

Herb Garden
We planted our herb garden this morning but also combined it with a sensory activity. Before we planted our herbs we had a little smelling and taste game, our residents got to smell our herbs and have a little taste before they guessed what they were. Our overall winner was our lovely Jane who won a little award for her efforts. Once we planted our herbs we gave them a good water and placed them in the garden where they belong.
Platinum Jubilee
We are so excited to be welcoming our entertainer Tony Boyle and our wonderful kitchen staff are planning the most fantastic afternoon tea to celebrate the platinum jubilee
Homemade Pasta
Our residents love to cook so we had a challenge last week and made homemade pasta and a vegetarian sauce for vegetarian week, great fun was had by all and the results were delicious!
Jean's Artwork
We love painting and drawing at Clarendon Court and just look at the fantastic artwork created by our very own Jean. She is far too shy and modest to have her picture taken but is very happy to share her beautiful artwork with everyone.

Cinco De Mayo
Every floor enjoyed celebrating Cinco De Mayo last week. We enjoyed watching the festival on the television and dancing away to the music whilst using our instruments to make some music. It was good fun to celebrate something different and explore different cultures. We enjoyed dressing up and enjoying each others company.

Easter Delivery
We had a special furry visitor at Knights Court Nursing home #BunnyRaj who went around gifting all our residents an Easter egg and wishing them well. You should have seen the smiles on our residents faces and some very surprised ones also !
