Stover Lake
The people living with us wanted to go on trip to Stover lake for a lovely walk and a picnic. There was lots of wild life to look on the walk around and the lake was beautiful. The residents had a lovely day and are looking forward to going back again.

Musical Delights
We had the wonderful Deborah from musical delights visit us earlier this month.
There was a party atmosphere with lots of dancing, arm waving and clapping along.

Just Bowl
We have been using the new bowling equipment, the residents love this activity and it gets very competitive.
Music In Mind
FAB DAY WITH IAN FROM MUSIC IN MIND SINGING IN THE SUNSHINE, THE RESIDENTS REALLY ENJOYED THE AFTERNOON JOINING IN AND SINGING ALONG.
National Scotch Day
National Scotch Day was celebrated with pub crawl and scotch tasting! We set up our own bar and had residents taste test the scotch and see what flavours they found. We also enjoyed some pub snacks and other refreshments. We finished with discussing our favourite pubs, where they were and our favourite drinks. Each resident (and a few staff) discussed with the group of their personal favourites, this made for a few laughs and brought happy memories back.

Pup Day
Our pup visitor Tia, is a regular visitor and brings joy to everyone. Pup day is a favourite activity for most of our residents. Tia has touched their hearts, listened to their troubles and brought company. The unconditional love she brings is returned tenfold by our doting residents.

Dancing Fun
Of course it had to happen, singing and dancing along to Cliff Richard's Summer Holiday. Enid and Helen showing us how it's done!

Lavender Bags
The people living with us got involved with making lavender bags today. The lavender was stripped from one of our own plants, then square pieces of material were sewn together and filled with lavender. To finish we added a nice piece of ribbon to make the bags look more decorative. They loved the activity and you could hear a pin drop; they were so engaged. The lavender bags were shared with everyone.

We love to Bake
The people living with us had a lovely morning making cupcakes and then helping to decorate them afterwards. The cakes will be served with afternoon tea this afternoon so everyone can enjoy them. Yummy!

Gardening Time
One of our residents, Philip, enjoyed a lovely afternoon watering the plants, flowers and tomatoes in our greenhouse. He used to garden with his dad so this brought back many happy memories.
