Thank You to Sewa Day Volunteers

Our local community has responded with so much love and support to us all during these uncertain times and we want to thank you all from everyone at River View.

We are so grateful to Manoj Mistry for picking up the morning newspapers for us whilst our usual delivery service is suspended. It might seem such a small thing to do, but for our staff who would otherwise be called away from the home to go and collect them, it means they can continue to provide care and support for all our residents during such a busy time.

Getting Creative with Cakes

The Belvedere Care Home spent the day getting ready for the Easter weekend by decorating some beautiful home made cupcakes using buttercream and pretty rice paper flowers out in the garden.

Staff and residents had a great time making the most of the outside space during the wonderful weather, and of course taste testing a couple of cakes, too!

Afternoon Tea at The Belvedere

Lots of lovely home made fancy buns all ready for our tea party this afternoon at The Belvedere Care Home. Everyone is looking forward to enjoying one with a cuppa.

Special Delivery to Gateford Hill

The staff and residents at Gateford Hill Care Home would like to thank TESCO, Worksop, for their generosity.  For them to take the time and effort, at this difficult time, to deliver the donation to the door. All gratefully appreciated - thank you so much again.

Happy 100th Birthday

Audrey celebrated her 100th birthday this week at Skell Lodge Residential Home.

Many Happy Returns.

Stay Safe

This week at Croft House we received some letters from the children at Flushdyke School to our residents. The letters were wishing them well and to keep safe. There were four letters from different children of all ages telling our residents how they were still at school because their parents were important key workers and were helping people during this uncertain time.

The residents were very pleased with the letter and enjoyed looking at the pictures that the children had drawn for them.

With love from Ashfield Court

Ashfield Court Care Home on Tewit Well Road in Harrogate were delighted to receive a parcel from the children of Grove Road Primary School.

The children had taken the time to draw some lovely pictures and write some letters to our residents and what an amazing surprise it was for them.

Alice In Wonderland Tea Party at Troutbeck

Staff and residents had a brilliant afternoon at Troutbeck Care Home when they held an Alice in Wonderland themed Tea Party.  Some of the staff wore fancy dress and we had a fabulous Cheshire cat cake made by our talented activities lady. We are all looking forward to the next tea party.

Letters from Greenfield Community College

Here at Rose Lodge Care Home in Newton Aycliffe we have been overwhelmed by the love and support shown by our local community and especially receiving letters from local schools and colleges for the residents.  We received a lovely letter this week from Greenfield Community College and of course we had to write back to them.
