Thank you to RR Agency

A big thank you to RR agency for their kind thoughts. RR arranged for  an Indian cuisine buffet delivery which was lovely. RR contacted Bowerfield Court and a lunch date was put in the diary for 1pm on Friday 23rd May.

This was a  fantastic show of appreciation for our dedicated team and thoughtfulness towards our residents. The buffet was enjoyed by both staff and residents.

Willowdene Delivery

Willowdene Care Home on Lizards Lane in Sedgefield have been so grateful for all of the community support we have received over these last few months and were delighted to see our community were still thinking of us.

We received this gorgeous card from Louis Welsh, a 6th Form Student. Thank you so much Louis.

Royal Visitors at Wyndham Hall

The Queen's birthday may well be a lot quieter than usual but we will still be celebrating in style at Wyndham Hall.

Some of the staff put Royal face masks on to celebrate.

We have opened our doors to one visitor, Reedus.

Reedus is an 18 month black Labrador who belongs to Stacey, one of our activities co-coordinators. Reedus is part of the team at Brunel House and has been visiting since he was 3 months old. He brings lots of love and really lifts everyone's spirits.

He's a handsome devil and he knows it!

Teesside Family Foundation

Thank you to Teesside Family Foundation from the residents of Willowdene Care Home on Lizard Lane in Sedgefield who received this tablet to enable them to keep in touch with relatives even more with video calls during this time.

Such a lovely gesture and very much appreciated.

Thank you Astor Court

We received a lovely letter in the post from the family of the late Cyril Courtenay who lived with us at Astor Care Complex.

We were delighted to hear you are still thinking of us and can't wait to see you when this is all over.  Thank you for the lovely letter.  It really did mean the world to us.

Field View Phone Home

Here at Field View Care Home on Hesleden Road we have missed all of our relatives who usually come to visit us but our residents have had some great calls and video calls with you all.  Here our two of our ladies enjoying chats with their families on the cordless phones at the home.

Games at Field View

We've not been able to get out and about at Field View Care Home but we have had a lovely week playing connect 4, jigsaws and chilling reading a magazine in the sun.

We are looking forward to seeing you back in the home when you are able to help us with our jigsaws and have a game of Connect 4 with us.
