Christmas Greetings
One of our sister homes' had a wonderful idea of creating resident Christmas pictures to be sent with cards from the residents using a festive backdrop. It was such a wonderful idea and the residents loved getting into the Christmas spirit. We took pictures of the residents next to the back drop and popped them in a card which activities organised. We hope you enjoyed receiving them.
Here are two of our team members warming their hands over the log fire.
Thank you Flowers
It's always sad when we lose a resident at the home but we received these beautiful flowers from a friend of the lady who passed away in December which really brightened our day. The staff were thrilled to read the lovely card which was attached to the flowers thanking us for all of the care we had given to her friend over the time she had lived with us.
Thank you to all the children and staff of William Bellamy School
Normally we would have visits from our local schools over Christmas so we were so delighted to receive this handmade wreath made by the children of William Bellamy School in Dagenham.
We were so touched that they took the time to spread some Christmas Cheer and let us know that they were still thinking of us.
Christmas Lunch Club
Our Christmas luncheon club came around so quickly. The menu this year was:
Duck and orange pate

Wyndham Hall are having a Christmas Party with a difference this year, after the very different year we have had, so MAD HATTERS TEA PARTY it is.
We would like to give a huge thankyou to LENK cakes Bicester who made this stunning cake for us.
Road Trip to Bath
Our recent road trip took us to Bath and being so close to Box and our trip brought back wonderful memories for our residents as many of them living in or around the area.
We visited The Royal Crescent is a row of 30 terraced houses laid out in the city of Bath. Built between 1767 and 1774. Notable residents Thomas Linley, Isaac Pitman, Richard Brinley Sheridan and many more. It has also been the location for film and television.
Covid safe Christmas Trees
In these unusual times we took the decision to make our own Covid friendly Christmas Trees and we all love the result.
Brunel's Christmas Winter Market
Brunel's Christmas Winter Market took place
There was a large selection of food for all to sample and of course traditional mulled wine and hot chocolate.
Gift tables were set up to enable each resident to pick a gift of their choice to keep for themselves or give to a loved one.

We are very fortunate to have such a wonderful community network around us. We cannot thank everyone enough for the wonderful kindness and support you have shown our home this year. Thank you to each and every one of you, we are so very grateful and cannot wait to be able to invite you into our home next year!.

Stourport High School & VIth form college students Jasmine and Hannah, winners of The Wharf Christmas card competition.
