Christmas Tree Decorating
Our residents have had a lovely afternoon decorating the Christmas tree in another of our lounges today. It triggered lots of lovely memories for them from when they used to decorate their own homes at Christmas time over the years. Conversation flowed and everyone enjoyed refreshments. We played Christmas music, and everyone enjoyed the festive atmosphere.

Elf Day
We had a lovely day on Friday celebrating Elf day with a family and friends, playing games and quizzes.

Making Soup
Creating meaningful activities that support independence for the people that live with us is so important. The lifestyle team worked with the catering team to provide an opportunity for people to make their own supper. Everyone had a great time cutting up vegetables for soup and making the homemade bread which was thoroughly enjoyed by all in the evening.

MacMillan Coffee Morning
We would like to thank everyone who came and supported our MacMillan coffee morning and cake sale. Our kitchen was very busy making some delicious cakes that tasted as good as they looked.

Autumn Artwork
We enjoyed some autumn themed painting with a twist, we used broccoli to paint with! The residents found this very effective and made some beautiful tree paintings, they are so proud of their artwork and have it hung in their room showing the staff and their relatives.
