Thank You From Relative
Dear Sandra and your amazing team,
We can never thank you enough for all you did for our mum. When she arrived with you back in March, we were told that mum only had a matter of weeks. We feel that the excellent care you gave mum gave us almost eight months more to share with her. Whenever we asked her how she was, she always answered "I'm okay thanks" and when we asked if she was happy she always answered "yes".

Movement to Music
A great session of movement to music with pom-poms and scarves followed by a lovely time together discussing the joy of babies as we held the therapy dolls and took care of them.
Dementia Dolls
A wonderful morning of activities at The Westbourne as residents enjoyed spending time together. Music, therapy dolls and lots of smiles and conversation made this morning of friendship and fun for everyone.
Halloween comes to Rose Lodge
We had a lot of fun at Rose Lodge Care Home in Newton Aycliffe for Halloween with residents and staff getting dressed up, a buffet of fabulous Halloween cakes and our very own version of Time Warp.
We'd love you to see the video of us. Give our Facebook a visit at RoseLodgeCWCH or copy the link below to view the video and enjoy the fun of Halloween in a care home.

Window Of Opportunity
Cavendish Court are proud to announce the implementation of our new concept "The Window of opportunity". Due to the ongoing COVID 19 restrictions in relation to visitors across the care home environment, we have created the option for multiple family members and friends to visit your loved ones at the same time. In order to arrange a window of opportunity booking via calling the main line and speaking with our lovely FOH team.

Cavendish Court's Pub
Many of our residents here at Cavendish Court have missed the little joys in life during the past several months, where even the option to go for a drink at the local pub had become a distant memory. The team at Cavendish therefore decided to bring the pub to them, the residents enjoyed a couple of Shandy's and G&T's whilst socialising with others, playing darts, golf and even re-watching the 1966 World Cup final.

Tea Party
Our residents had a traditional English tea party with lots of lovely cakes and scones to choose from. We started the afternoon with tea and coffee followed by a glass of fizz with strawberries to celebrate the weekend. A great afternoon enjoyed by all.

Flower Arranging
Our residents at Heeley Bank, as always, really enjoyed the flower arranging session. They created beautiful bouquets which we have displayed on the dining room tables.
Macmillan Coffee Morning
At Heeley Bank our residents and staff baked their heart out and had a lovely time at the Macmillan coffee morning.
Pizza Making
At Heeley Bank our residents made their own home made pizzas which everyone really enjoyed.
