Jez and Rachel Felwick of The Bowler Meatballs Company generously donated a large box of meals for our staff. The individual portions of curry were delicious and ensured that all staff on duty had a much appreciated hot nutritious meal during their busy shift.  Dishes were provided by Abbs Waess from the Cardamom Bistro in Pangbourne.

A huge thank you to these Pangbourne residents for their generosity and support. They were able to organise the delivery of some additional PPE for our staff members with 2 boxes of face visors direct from Bloc Blinds in Northern Ireland. Thank you Susan, Rob, Jez, Rachel, Abbs, Jenny, Chris, Cloe, Will, Kelly, Ian, Alice, Emma, Darren & Becky. We can’t thank you enough for helping to ensure everyone in our home continues to remain safe.

Ashfield Court in Tewit Well Road in Harrogate received such a sweet surprise delivery in the form of gorgeous cakes from Spa Surgery from the staff and GP's. We would just like to say from all at the home a huge thank you and we really do appreciate them and won't forget your kindness.

We also had a lovely surprise from ‘Sedgefield locality team’ at Willowdene Care Home on Lizards Lane in Sedgefield.  One of the team dropped off lots of gorgeous treats for the staff with a lovely card which really touched us.  We are so grateful to think people are thinking of us all and thank you so much for the wonderful treats.

Thank you to our local Chinese restaurant who donated 600 masks last week to Wyndham Hall Care Home. 

There's nothing like a pamper session with aromatherapy oils especially during the current circumstances. We are lucky at Kents Hill Care Home to have our activities coordinator on the Dementia Suite who is qualified in hand massage and aromatherapy oils.

Here at Willowdene Care Home we will be clapping for all of the carers at Maria Mallaband and Countrywide at 8pm along with other care workers in social care and NHS.  Every Thursday night, Ruth Sunter, Manager at Willowdene Care Home on Lizards Lane stands outside her house and claps for her team and colleagues for all of the amazing work they are doing through these difficult times.
