Starbeck Primary Cards
Starbeck Primary School children sent these wonderful handmade cards to lift our spirits and provide colourful cheer to the residents at Belmont House Care Home on High Street, Starbeck. Thank you for the lovely cards and we can't wait to see you when you are allowed to visit again.

Thank you Pinpoint Recruitment
We received this beautiful gift from Pinpoint Recruitment in June which really cheered us up. Thank you so much for thinking of us at Astor Care Complex and we really do appreciate your generosity. Hope to see you in the future for a coffee morning. Until then, stay safe.

Gentleman's Club
At Astor Court we have a weekly Gentleman’s Club, we hold this on a Wednesday morning, its a lovely way of being able to interact and play games. The favourite is dominoes and we even have beer and crisps. We'd love you to join us once things return to normal.

Astor Care Complex Rainbow of Hands
We love taking part in activities at Astor Care Complex and really wanted to make our own rainbow for the home involving all of our residents. We decided to make a rainbow of our hand prints. It was such a lovely activity as it meant all of our residents were able to be involved.
After the rainbow was made we travelled around the home, to take photos with messages for the families, which were emailed. We have received some positive feedback from the families who loved seeing the photos and we hope you love our rainbow as much as we do.

Georgia's Giant Rainbow visits Astor Care Complex
Astor Care Complex were visited by Georgia's Giant Rainbow in May who gave us all a wave from the car park. There was lots of smiles and waves from all around the home from the residents who were delighted to receive a visit during lockdown. It was a beautiful day and the rainbow wave was such a lovely idea which cheered everyone up especially as we were making our own rainbow's in the home.

Cheese and wine at Garden Hill
We do enjoy our cheese and wine nights at Garden Hill Care Home on St Michael's Avenue in South Shields. We have so many different cheeses and crackers to chose from we never know what to try first.
We'd love you to join us one night when able to have a tipple with us and some cheese and crackers and sing along to the music of the 60's.

Garden Hill trades the garden for the beach
Here at Garden Hill Care Home on St Michael's Avenue, South Shields we do like to get out to the coast when able and were delighted when the shielding was lifted so we could pop along to Minchella's Ice Cream parlour and watch the musicians along the gorgeous coastline of South Shields.
Claire (resident at Garden Hill) and our activities coordinator Stacey had a fabulous morning and the ice cream was delicious.

Birthday Celebrations at The Moors
The Moors care home has celebrated a number of birthdays this month ,from the age of 97 to 104. The kitchen has out done themselves with the beautiful cakes all personalised to their preference.
Balloons and flowers have decorated the home and staff have made each resident feel special on their birthday with parties, singing and lots of music and fun all over the home.

Thank you card
Here at Ashfield Court one of the highlights of our day is receiving post from past residents who stay with us for respite and we were delighted to receive this card in the post in June.
We look forward to welcoming you back for a coffee morning when we can. Stay Safe.
