We have been entertained on a weekly basis by various musicians whom have very kindly volunteered their time to play for care homes in our area. Here are the pics of Steph and Peter Steph is a retired GP who has worked at Troutbeck in the past.



She was delighted to return as a guest and we were equally delighted with the performance. Music is always a great source of entertainment for our residents, it has brought so much joy especially as we have been unable to have families visiting.

We have received lots of lovely reviews over the last few weeks and we really do appreciate all the kind words. 

Here are a few examples. 

"Just want to say a massive thank you , to each and everyone of you for what you are all doing in caring for R, and looking after him and all the other residents at Howgate. Your dedication and commitment to those relying on your efforts can not be praised too highly. Wishing you all the very best and stay safe."

Fabulous news Cavendish Court will be supporting Cheadle Heath & Cheadle Food Banks which are part of the Trussell Trust -  Stockport food bank family .

The home will be encouraging staff and visitors to  buy an extra item when shopping to go into the food bank donation box .

Sandra Senior manager of Cavendish Court said "We are thrilled to become part of the community for Cheadle Heath & Cheadle  Food Banks plus we look forward to future interventions, helping those in need and when safe to do so visiting the Food Banks."

We received a lovely email from a member of the local community regarding one of our fabulous care staff here at Earsdon Grange.

It was the Queen's 94th birthday and here at Abingdon Court Care Home we couldn't let it go without celebrating!

Organising such an event was so much fun and Kirsty, Activities Coordinator couldn't wait to get it all set up. Kirsty arranged a crown making activity in the week leading up to the party to get everyone in the spirit of being Royal for the day.

Parkview Care Home celebrated VE day with lots of smiles, reminiscing and flag waving. 

A belated note to say a sincere thank you for your care for M and support for myself. As you recall, it was difficult for me leaving M at Troutbeck and quiet a challenge after. However, you were always there to help us both through this time.

Thank you once again, I know I sent flowers to Troutbeck but I wanted to Thank you personally. I hope you and yours are well Take care MW

Dear Linda and everyone at Troutbeck.

One of our longest serving staff member's Joan Taylor retired from Croft House last week after 21 years service. Joan was our Activities Coordinator and she loved every minute she spent with our residents over the years. She will be missed by all.
