Lace Hill at the Buckingham Christmas Parade

The Lace Hill team and two of their gents, Reg and Roy, proudly took part in the Buckingham Christmas Parade this year, celebrating the festive season with their vibrant Lace Hill Manor Super Heroes theme.

Dressed as Lace Hill heroes, they brought energy, joy, and plenty of smiles to the streets of Buckingham. Reg and Roy were true stars of the parade, showcasing that the holiday season is all about community, togetherness, and celebrating every individual superpower. It was a magical morning filled with festive cheer!

Therapy Dog Visit

Ruby brought an extra dose of Christmas cheer to Lace Hill with her adorable dress-up outfit! She truly brightened everyone's day with her festive spirit. A big thank you to Jenny and Ruby for bringing so much happiness and warmth to our people. Their visits provide a comforting presence that encourages emotional well-being and social interaction. We are grateful for the joy they bring to our community.

Buckingham House Christmas Stall

Buckingham House joined their wider community this weekend with their promotional stall at The Gerrards Cross Christmas Extravaganza, where they joined local businesses and organisations for the Christmas light switch in the town centre. General Manager Courtney, along with deputy manager Alfredo, receptionist Sue, administrator Krish & lifestyle assistant Gill, spent a very cold but fun evening sharing homemade cookies along with brochures and information about day care, respite, dementia, residential and nursing care.

Remembrance Day

Celebrating Remembrance Day at Windmill Care Centre. This was a nostalgic moment for some of the people living with us. It was lovely to spend the day together and reflect on the past.

Celebrating Diwali

This week, Bridge House celebrated Diwali, the Hindu festival of light, with lots of traditional decorations, food, outfits, songs and lots of light.

Everyone learnt a lot about this celebration, and enjoyed spending time with each other.

Happy Halloween

What a fun time the people living at Allingham House had together, celebrating the spookiest time of the year! A whole week of activities were planned, from displaying decorations to traditional pumpkins carving, everyone came along and had a great time together.

Woburn Safari Park

What a wonderful way to celebrate a 100th birthday! A day full of smiles and animal fun at Woburn Safari park with some of the people living at Wyndham Hall. From the playful monkeys, to the majestic lions, everyone had a blast exploring and making new memories together in the sunshine ☀️ 🦒

Windsor Court's Canal Boat Trip

A big thankyou to the Willow Trust for such a great day out. We spent the day on the Gloucester Sharpness Canal, cruising in their disabled access boat. A highlight was everyone getting to meet the skipper and have a go steering the boat. Another thankyou to the staff who helped get everyone ready bright and early for our 9am departure and the kitchen who made us a picnic to take. The day was a huge success, and we will be going again next summer.

Claremont Manor at the Eat Festival on the lawn

Claremont Manor enjoyed a successful outing to the Eat Festival on the lawn in Dawlish. Our chef prepared delicious shortbread biscuits, and we gave a preview of our cheese and wine evenings by serving homemade chutney with cheese and mini toast, alongside alcohol free wine.

We had some wonderful, meaningful conversations with attendees and look forward to the next event in Teignmouth in November.
