We have been making the most of the sunny weather getting as many residents in the garden as possible and playing games in the sunshine.

Donning our sun hats we took a visit to the garden to check on the plants and give them some much needed water, tidying up plant pots as we went. Afterwards, the residents took a well earned rest in the shade, chatting and enjoying the garden.

Residents enjoyed making their own fruit kebabs to cool down in the heat.

We used an old Meds Trolley to make a Snack Shack for our Residents here at Troutbeck, it is filled with goodies very kindly donated from Yorkshire Cleaning and Maintenance.

It's always a nice surprise to have treats and we have lots of choice of crisps, sweets and chocolate bars

Our Hearts and Craft session is always a winner we love to get creative and flowers and Butterfly were the favourites this session.

We surprised one of our colleagues with a baby shower party, none of our residents had experienced a baby shower so this was an entirely new experience for them. We had hand made baby cupcakes, a 3 tired nappy cake, drinks games and gifts. It was a lovely day for everyone, staff and residents.

And our donkey 'Billy' has arrived, no beach party is complete without a donkey! Can't wait for our residents to meet him.

We are all ready to go. Sue is our gorgeous bar tender, shaking those cocktails (or mocktails!), Joseph and Stephen are on barbeque duty and the food is looking fantastic.

Sometimes nothing can beat watching a great movie, along with a bag of our favourite sweets and a nice cool drink.

We hosted our very own Hawaiian Party at the home on Friday. It was a fantastic day that was enjoyed by the people living at the home and the team here too.
There were Mocktails, Food, Live Entertainment and lots of singing and dancing. The people living at the home really loved it and they can not wait for the next party.
