Community Spirit in Slough

In these difficult times we never fail to be amazed at the thoughtfulness of people, especially young people. Shoha was worried about our residents and so sent this lovely uplifting letter to them.  It brought a smile not just their faces but also to all of our staff at Windmill Care Centre as Shoha thinks that they are amazing.

St Patrick's Day Celebrations at River View

Residents and staff celebrated St Patrick's Day in style by dressing up in the national colours and enjoying a special Irish lunch menu.

In addition, our activity team served a selection of Guinness and Irish Cream drinks along with a selection of non alcoholic cocktails. Everyone had fantastic time, finishing with an afternoon tea of themed cup cakes. Well done to all our staff for making our residents so happy as they really enjoyed the day.

Mother's Day at Hope Green

On Mother's Day, Morrison's supermarket in Poynton sent all the flowers they had in store to Hope Green Residential Home.

Everyone at Hope Green loves the wonderful flower displays around the home, arranged by residents and the home's Activities Coordinator.

A big thank you to Morrison's for the lovely gift.

Creative and Colourful Challenge at The Belvedere

Lego provides a creative and colourful challenge, combining co-ordination and enjoyment for our residents at The Belvedere. We use it whilst relaxing and socialising.

Armchair Exercises at The Belvedere

Residents at The Belvedere enjoyed taking part in arm exercises enabling hand and eye co-ordination.

Lots of fun had by all and residents are looking forward to the next exercise class.
