National Rice Pudding Day

For the National Rice Pudding Day, our lovely residents tasted rice pudding with their favorite and selected toppings.

They shared stories on how they used to eat it when younger.

Doll Naming Ceremony

On the first days of the month, the residents throw a tea party to welcome their newest doll residents.

During this tea party the dolls were named and given birth dates chosen and agreed by all the residents.

70's Groovy Love and Peace Party

The residents had a 70's groovy love and peace party to celebrate the end of another summer week.

They entered the spirit of the party, chat, drink and laugh with each other.

Wizard Of Oz Performance

The residents really enjoyed a performance of Wizard Of Oz starring Tina and Lynda read by Rachel.

Hope Green Cafe

Cream teas were served from our very own bakery at the new Hope Green Cafe and residents absolutely loved spending time there with their relatives. Alongside the traditional teas and coffees, sparkling lemon and mint drinks were popular as the temperatures soared and the sun shone. Making this a very special occasion, Chloe the manager cut the red ribbon with one of our residents and officially declared the cafe 'open'!

Tennis

A bit of physical activity took place today having had reserved energy through out the heat wave. Tennis being the sport of choice, whether mobile or seated our lovely residents appeared to enjoy a match.
