Here’s our very own Margaret who showed her talent in making the head dress for the Amber Court's Fiesta. Look at how she sampled her work!

The Ladies (Joan on the right and Christine on the left) at Amber Court has been very busy making the head dress before our Amber Court Fiesta event. Look how amazing their work is!

Here's our Amber Court staff, Hannah, Camille and Alice who entertained our residents with the Traditional Filipino"Tinikling" (bamboo dance) and the "Pandango sa ilaw" (Candle dance).

Our talented staff and residents put efforts on our upcoming event even our coconut trees backdrop was handmade. Look how busy they are! And how fantastic our backdrop is! You can’t resist to take photos with it.

One of our residents, alongside the activity staff, has made a memory box. In the memory box contained items that Oliver felt was personal to him but also things that gave us an insight to Oliver's life and past.

Our ladies enjoyed having their nails done and choosing their favourite colour shades.

Carnival Day at Ashmead proved to be a most enjoyable and colourful day for everyone at Ashmead. There were people in traditional clothing, lots of activities, music and delicious food, much to the delight of everyone present.  There was even late summer sunshine within Ashmead’s garden to really make the day special.

The recipe books were out at Ashmead recently during a cake baking session when the people living at Ashmead joined the Activities team in baking cakes. All hygienic measures were practised and the past and present culinary skills of the residents concerned were clearly highlighted.

The residents had a really good time creating hand by hand with family and friends beautiful memory boxes. I would like to thank you all for the great response received and the amazing time that the residents have enjoyed reminiscing and sharing happy memories.

The residents joined last month to the celebrations of World Photo Day. The residents really enjoyed taking pictures of another resident in their favourite places all around Allingham House. One of the most popular places was our garden with all the beautiful flowers that we have this time of the year.
