Christmas Part Buffett

It was great to team up with the local charity "Self Care matters" for our Christmas party. Alison the founder of the charity teamed up with our chef Caitlin to provide some tasty treats for our buffet. there was barely a crumb left.

Craft Workshops

We have been hand decorating Christmas cards to send to families, we all love the craft workshops and celebrated our hard work with mince pies and mulled wine.

Christmas Pictures

We have decorated a small area of our Home to Take Special Christmas Pics of our Residents here at Troutbeck, we will be posting them off to families together with our hand decorated Christmas Cards. Everyone has loved seeing the Decorations go up.

Salvation Army Donations

We have been collecting donations for the Salvation Army in Keighley.

A big thank you to Yorkshire Cleaning and Maintenance for your kind donation of Toys and Games and also to Airdale Hospital for your donation of food and toiletries, and from our families we really appreciate it.

Abbey View's Winter Wonderland

Welcome to Abbey View's own Winter Wonderland! Don't worry, it's very warm and cosy.

Christmas at The Belvedere

We have had a lovely day decorating our first tree for our home, we enjoyed some Christmas music with a nice cup of Tea whilst we put our decorations on. We have spent lots of time speaking about our favourite Christmas traditions and what they wanted to put on the trees and around their home. We made our own tree decorations together which look beautiful and we have also been creating snowflakes to hang from our ceilings.

Christmas Wreath Making

Christmas at Hope Green wouldn't be complete without some wreath making so we set about gathering all that we needed and produced some great wreaths. Individual creativity is always a wonderful thing to celebrate and this was certainly one of those celebrations.

Independent Marshmallow Creation Stations

What a lovely morning at Hope Green as we melted chocolate, selected toppings, and chose pink or white marshmallows. Each resident had their own personal decorating station so it was a perfect opportunity to try something a little different and work independently whilst chatting to friends. A lovely morning of food tasting and friendship

Christmas Card Making

We spent the day making Christmas cards, much fun and laughter enthused as pompoms got stuck to fingers and glitter got everywhere. We had lots of fun though!
