Fire Brigade Join Clap for Heroes
Wyndham Hall Care Home were surprised and delighted on Thursday when the fire brigade joined us for the 8pm Clap for Heroes outside the home.
The support and community engagement during these times has meant so much to us and we want to thank you for visiting to join us in our Clap for Heroes.

Special Recognition
We received the message of the family of one of our resident's at Troutbeck along with some yummy treats. Thank you very much for kind words and treats.
"We as a family want to say a great big thank you for all you do everyday and never more so than this moment in time. It is a hard job we know and currently even harder so our love and best wishes are sent to each and everyone of you for doing a fantastic job."

Chocolate Thank You
Ashfield Court on Tewit Hall Road received a lovely donation from the wife of one of our residents at the home who thought we could all enjoy a treat during the day.
Thank you for this lovely donation, the staff were absolutely delighted to receive the chocolate and this is only half of the donation too.
An Update From Appletree Court
We miss our visitors but during this time we are keeping in touch in what ever way we can and we have adapted and learnt new skills.
We have rediscovered the art of letter writing and regularly write letters to our loved ones and we look forward to receiving the replies.
Technology is amazing that we can see and chat with family and friends on what looks like a little television.
The community continue to be caring, sending in little parcels, together with other gifts, donations and letters. We appreciate them all.

Stay Safe Everyone
Thank you to the pupils at Cropwell Bishop Primary School for the wonderful paintings for our residents.

Norwich Football Club at The Hawthorns
Getting post at The Hawthorns Care Home in Norwich is always pretty exciting but when we received a delivery from Norwich City Football Club there was a buzz around the home. Our staff and residents were delighted to receive this signed and framed football shirt along with a carrot cake from no other than Delia Smith. Thank you, we have this up in pride of place at the home.

Rainbow Gifts
Thank you to the Hallam family for the lovely cakes and painted stones delivered to Belvoir Vale Care Home along with the lovely message saying..
“Just a little thank you for your hard work through these tough times. Enjoy a cuppa and cake whilst you take a break." All the cakes have been baked by the Hallam family, Dorothy’s daughter and grandchildren.
The stones were painted by the grandchildren of Dorothy.

Easter Cards
Easter this year was a little different to other years at Belmont House Care Home in Starbeck, Harrogate but we also wanted to make it memorable for our families who were unable to visit our residents.
We thought it would be nice for family members to receive a card from their loved one wishing them a Happy Easter and letting them know that they are all doing well and are looking forward to being together again at the end of this current situation.

VE Day Celebrations
We were blessed with beautiful weather for VE day and so we took our celebrations into our gardens to celebrate with a garden party.
We decorated the inside of Brunel House and of course outside, with bunting, photographs and garden games. We served afternoon tea, listened to music and played lots of lawn games. It was a perfect day.

Healing Hector Visits Abingdon Court
We may not be allowed visitors of the human kind so Healing Hector stepped into Abingdon Court Care Home to spread some joy and happiness. As colourful hector ran towards the front door he raised many smiles both inside and outside the building.
Covid-19 may take away many of our activities temporarily but Covid cannot take away the memories of this special day.
