Thank you Astor Court
We received a lovely letter in the post from the family of the late Cyril Courtenay who lived with us at Astor Care Complex.
We were delighted to hear you are still thinking of us and can't wait to see you when this is all over. Thank you for the lovely letter. It really did mean the world to us.
Thank You from the NHS
Yohden Care Complex had a surprise visit today from Debbie Cox who is the lead blood transfusion Coordinator at North Tees's Hospital. Debbie arrived at the home with an award for the team at Yohden Care Complex for all of their hard work during the current situation.
Thank you so much, it was most appreciated and the staff were absolutely delighted to receive this from you.

Here at Field View Care Home on Hesleden Road we have missed all of our relatives who usually come to visit us but our residents have had some great calls and video calls with you all. Here our two of our ladies enjoying chats with their families on the cordless phones at the home.

We hope you had a fabulous birthday.
Charades at Brunel House
Pictonary is one of our favourite games with both our residents and staff getting involved. It can get quite competitive and noisy but its always good natured and good fun.
Community Spirit at Ashfield Court
Here at Ashfield Court Care Home on Tewit Well Road in Harrogate we have been amazed by the kindness and generosity of our local community.
We received some gorgeous flowers from the Oatlands Community Group and a lovely card which was such a lovely gesture and meant the world to us. Thank you for sending those to us, the staff and residents loved them.
VE Day Memories
We love hearing stories from yesteryear at Willowdene Care Home on Lizards Lane, Sedgefield and VE Day proved to be an amazing day for that.
Meet our fabulous resident Ivy who is 105 years old. She was 30 years old and married to Tom who was a solider when the first VE Day was celebrated and she recalls they had a big party and singing and dancing in the streets. The atmosphere was magical and everyone baked lovely cakes, pies and treats and shared everything with their neighbours.
