Birch Heath Lodge Afternoon Tea Parties
Nestled in a sleepy, yet oh so beautiful village in the Cheshire countryside, is Birch Heath Lodge, Christleton. We don’t let a pandemic stop us having fun so, every few weeks, we have an afternoon party. This is time for the residents and staff to relax and enjoy each other’s company and sing our hearts out. There is always lots of laughter, clapping and swinging our pants.

100th Birthday Celebrations at Thorntree Mews
Margaret Brown celebrated her 100th Birthday on Sunday 23rd August, at Thorntree Mews. Not quite the birthday the family had planned, but Margaret started the day with breakfast in her room, then began the pampering session. Shower, nails and hair done for the occasion and Margaret looked amazing. Margaret went to reception area where her family were waiting to greet her. She had a fabulous day and the bad weather did not dampen her spirits. As you can see from the photo, Margaret is quite a character.
Abingdon Court welcomes back visitors
We were excited to welcome our first visitors back to Abingdon Court on 6th July.
We decorated our lovely garden to ensure residents and families enjoyed their visits and we also decorated the reception area so families and friends could see see how much we have missed them.
We are lucky to be able to continue to welcome visits from friends and families who have been so understanding of the different rules now in place.
