In addition, our activity team served a selection of Guinness and Irish Cream drinks along with a selection of non alcoholic cocktails. Everyone had fantastic time, finishing with an afternoon tea of themed cup cakes. Well done to all our staff for making our residents so happy as they really enjoyed the day.

Postcard Delivery for Cavendish Court
Here at Cavendish Court we have been keeping residents in touch with their loved ones via skype and facetime.
We have received a lot of postcards of kindness wishing us safety from across the country including good stories that are happening. We are really looking forward to the next post delivery, hopefully we will receive more postcards.
Meet Doogle
Blenheim Care Centre has a new resident, welcome to Doogle.
Doogle is being fostered by Eva our manager and is now part of the furniture. Our residents love him and he loves being part of Blenheim.
Planting Strawberry Seeds at Skell Lodge
Our first attempt at planting strawberry seeds using the knowledge of one of our residents who has grown lots of fruit and vegetables. We googled how to grow strawberries form slicing the seeds from a ripe strawberry and laying in compost. This is the first time she has grown strawberries this way.

Easter Preparations at Croft House Care Home
An afternoon of arts and crafts for residents at Croft House Care Home. Residents got together to make crafts in preparation for Easter.
They enjoyed making Easter bonnets, Easter canvas, plus another couple of decorations to hang on the wall so everyone could see their hard work. The residents enjoyed designing their bonnets and making good use of all the decorations. We have entered them into the Easter Bonnet competition.
We finished off the activity with cups of tea and biscuits.

Homemade Pizzas at Willow Bank
The residents at Willow Bank Nursing Home enjoyed making their own pizzas with a variety of toppings. They chose their own toppings and later ate them for dinner.
Some of the residents had not tried olives before and we agreed that they are like marmite, love them or hate them!
