Easter Delivery
A huge thank you to our local Tesco, Slough Community Volunteer Service and One Slough Community Response Team for the donations and delivery of Easter eggs for everyone in the home. We were overwhelmed by your generosity and all of our residents and staff really appreciated this gesture.

Afternoon Tea Treat
Staff at Windmill Care Centre enjoyed a welcome break of delicious homemade cake along with a calming cup of tea thanks to the generosity of one of our local neighbours. This lovely treat was dropped off on Friday to thank everyone for all their hard work and care at this busy time.
The cake was lovely and greatly enjoyed by the staff on duty. Support from our local community has been fantastic during these uncertain times and we want to thank you all from everyone at Windmill.

Live Streamed Easter Service for Troutbeck Care Home
Easter was celebrated with residents coming together to listen to the Easter service live streamed from St Margarets Church, Ilkley. In the afternoon we had a prize quiz and afternoon tea, which was enjoyed by all.
Some of our residents were able to speak to family via face time or telephone and also posted Easter cards they had created.

Easter Flower Display at Troutbeck
Residents at Troutbeck Care Home in Ilkley enjoyed making paper flowers to create an indoor garden area, these proved to be very popular. We used them to make a lovey Easter display that residents could enjoy in the garden room.

Kind Donation for Howgate House
We had a surprise visit from the lovely people from the Ummah Welfare Trust a fabulous charity. They have kindly delivered additional PPE supplies to the staff at Howgate House. This is fantastic initiative from this charity and we would like to say a massive thank you to Adam and his team for supporting the care home sector and for the masks and gloves.

Easter Eggs for Ashfield Court
Easter is always a special time at Ashfield Court in Harrogate and this year we really missed the visits from the children coming into the home. We were so grateful to receive some Easter Eggs from people of the community for Ashfield Court which we shared out amongst the residents who were overwhelmed by the fact the community were still thinking of them even though they couldn't visit, Thank you all so much for your wonderful donations, it made our residents very happy and we look forward to seeing you again soon.

Easter Time at Windmill Court
Easter at Windmill Court was a special time. We decorated the home, made and sent cards to family and friends and of course enjoyed plenty of chocolate eggs and hot cross buns.

Handmade Bracelets and Gifts
We are rapidly learning new skills at Windmill Court to ensure we can keep in touch with friends and family. As well as taking a traditional route of sending letters we have mastered face time which has provided plenty of laughs along the way. We have also been making beautiful gifts and cards to send to family and friends.

Musical Performance from Royal Academy Music
Cedar Court Care Home in Cranleigh had it's second interactive concert of the year in March from their young friends at the Royal Academy of Music . These Young Artist Musical Ambassadors, known as YAMA’s, are led by Professor of Violin at the Royal Academy of Music, Chika Robertson of the music charity The Music Mind Spirit Trust and accompanied by the brilliant pianist Elizabeth Dockrell-Tyler. They have been putting on fantastic Sunday afternoon concerts for residents, family and staff since 2018.
