How did you find your role at MMCG?

I saw an internal opportunity online where there was a home in Leeds that needed a Home manager, closer to where I live. I spoke to my Regional Director at the time and she advised me to apply which I did then I was set on an interview which I was successful.

Since starting as Home Manager I have learnt to be more patient, resilient and my communication skills have got better as this role pushes you to engage with all different kinds of professionals across the business and external professionals too.

I have received tremendous support from different kind professionals to enhance both knowledge and wider experience.

What is the best thing about working at MMCG?

Just seeing the positive outcomes for the people we support is my favourite thing about working in the care sector. MMCG also helps us to support those that live with us to enhance their best quality of life whilst also offering a wide range of opportunities for their employees.

Winning the Best New Comer award in 2022 and becoming a home manager has been so rewarding for me. Also working with all different kind of professionals who brings in different kind of skills to enhance my knowledge and widen my experience.
