Community Centre Goodie Bags
Rita is making up goodie bags for the community centres.
Emma James Outdoor Performance
Emma James singing for us despite the chilly air outside.
Residents were also donated a daffodil when they were leaving the concert area.
Exercise's at The Hawthorns
The residents trailed out some new exercise bands on Thursday. They are partly made from cotton so easier to grip and softer on the hands. The residents did brilliantly doing more formal exercises like bicep curls and experimented with their own movement.
It was a week of exercise with residents trying out their jab, cross, hook and upper cut for the boxing session. The residents practiced their hand-eye coordination by hitting the pads with their boxing gloves and we had some great right hooks!
Popping Silicone Bubbles
We used our fine motor skills today to pop the silicone bubbles. The residents took it in turns to use their fingers and thumbs to push the bubbles through to the other side. After a few turns, the residents began to see who could pop the most the fastest. We have quite a few competitive residents playing today.
Bird Decoration
Our residents painted birds which we attached to twigs of handmade blossom to decorate the lounge.

Care Practitioner Course
Trish has worked throughout the pandemic to complete her Care Practitioner Course, she has worked endless hours, completed all online training and all competencies. This is fantastic, she is working at Bowerfield Court to gain further clinical skills and is really enjoying the role!!
Well done Trish from staff and residents at Bowerfield Court

Memories at Wyndham Hall
Ay Wyndham Hall we are very fortunate that the people we care for share their memories and stories with us, it's such a privilege and a special time. Recently we sat with Hilary and went through her beautiful album and reminisced about the good old days! We were in hysterics over a picture of her grandchild with ice cream all over her face!
Easter Crafts
There is no time to rest at Wyndham Hall . With Easter just around the corner our team of crafter’s thoughts turn to decorating the home for Easter. The cutting can be fiddly but it’s an excellent way to improve dexterity.
World Book Day at Brunel
World Book Day was celebrated in style at Brunel House with a Mad Hatters tea party. The staff team as usual were amazing dressing up as their favourite characters from books whilst the residents enjoyed reminiscing about their favourite childhood books. The day came to an end with a spectacular Mad Hatters Tea party in the cafe. We cannot wait to go bigger and better next year and do it all over again.
Cuddle A Chick
The chicks are now six days old and growing fast! The residents are thoroughly enjoying their time with them and for some this is the first time that they have actually felt or held a chick. We are so pleased that we have been able to offer this unique experience.
