World Egg Day
We celebrated World Egg Day last week at Amber Court. Our kitchen prepared various egg dishes for our residents to choose and enjoy for their breakfast. Yummy!
Cake Shop
Since we're making lovely and yummy cupcakes, our team decided that it's time for a cake shop. Our cake shop raised £77. Our staff and visitors all participated in it. Our residents enjoyed selling and eating our cakes. A big thank you for all who supported our little cake shop!

OKTOBERFEST a Buckingham House
OKTOBERFEST came to Buckingham House. Everyone enjoyed dancing to Umpapa Umpapa music, whilst enjoying a glass of German beer and traditional snacks which went down very well, whilst we all joined in a game of Beer Pong.
A great day had by all.
Brunel House's View
Once in a while you just have to stop and appreciate the beauty on your doorstep. As we wave goodbye to summer and welcome autumn with its with its stunning colours, cosy evenings and crisp bright mornings, we never take for granted the ever changing seasons and the beautiful views in and around the village.

Care Awards hosted at Abingdon Court
To celebrate the Annual Care Awards, we transformed one of our lounges into a Gatsby-esque ball room and invited all of those who live here and staff to celebrate the nomination of one of our very own nurses, Alexandra, who was put forward for 'Nurse of the Year'! To honour her, everybody donned an 'Alexandra' mask just to show how proud we are of her achievement - a silly touch which provided lots of entertainment for her and those who joined us for the event.

Parkview's Care Award Celebrations
It was a great afternoon, watching the annual MMCG Staff Awards and although Parkview nominations didn't garner enough support to reach the final, both our staff and those living here had a great afternoon, watching the online feed and then partying down with some very old school music to while away the afternoon.

Celebrating those that give their all - the Maria Mallaband and Countrywide Care annual awards.
We know that we are nothing at all without our fantastic people – the individuals and teams who make up the Maria Mallaband family – so our seventh annual company-wide awards were the perfect opportunity to recognise and celebrate some of our high flyers who have given their all over the past 12 months and made a real difference for those living in our homes and their families.
Acorn Celebrates The Care Awards
Our residents enjoyed the care awards party, celebrating with a singer, so the residents did lots of singing and dancing. We had a special menu made by our chef Michelle and staff dressed as waiters to make it extra special for the residents. Everyone had their name written on a star which made a lovely decoration on the wall and had a seating plan and place names on the table. A good time was had by all.
International Day Of The Older Person
Let's celebrate! A vibrant atmosphere, dancing with friends, neon hats and chocolates for everyone! What a great day and what a privilege to share in the celebrations together. Residents and staff filled the room with lots of smiles and laughter too. We certainly know how to celebrate in style.
Birch Heath Celebrates Care Awards
There were lots of celebrations at Birch Heath Lodge as we were preparing to enjoy the MMCG annual staff recognition awards.
