Ghanaian Hot Chocolate
Bowerfield House celebrated Black History Month with a yummy Ghanaian Hot Chocolate from Ghana. We heated the milk and put brown sugar, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, honey and grated dark 85% cocoa chocolate, mixed it all together and pour into a cup with a squirt of cream .
All the residents really enjoyed it and we will definitely be making it again. We talked about Black History with all the residents

Disney Day at Manorhey
Our residents enjoyed a fun-filled Disney day last month. The activities team started off by decorating the home with beautiful bright balloons and decorations. We then did different Disney themed activities, some made Disney head pieces and princess tiaras whilst others coloured Disney colouring pages. Then in the afternoon the activities team dressed up, we enjoyed classic Disney movies with popcorn, cupcakes, sweets and mickey mouse shaped sandwiches. We ended our day by singing Disney soundtracks and dancing away.
