Flower Arranging

Flower arranging is a favourite creative group activity at Cedar Court. Not only do we enjoy the tea and chatter, the results are always beautiful.

Cards of Kindness

It's fantastic the ideas that can spring from the mind of our amazing Activities Coordinator. Katrina found some old cards and they were reworked into beautiful words. The people we care for expressed their thoughts on what made them happy.

February at Bowerfield House

We've had a heart warming month here at Bowerfield House. We held a coffee morning for World Cancer Day, raising money for the Beechwood Cancer Care Centre in Stockport. We enjoyed a fabulous Chinese meal cooked in house by our chef for Chinese New Year. We didn't end up with too many pancakes stuck to the ceiling when we tossed our pancakes on Shrove Tuesday! We followed pancake day by recognising the start of Lent on Ash Wednesday with an online Church service and silent contemplation.

St David's Day

Celebrating St David's Day at Wyndham Hall, daffodils in abundance! All our residents and staff enjoyed celebrating St David's Day as well as making daffodils and displaying them around the home.

Birthday's At Hope Green

Here at Hope Green we love to celebrate everyone's birthday. We like to ask everyone to choose what they would like to do for their big day. We enjoy a lot of one on one time together watching documentaries, eating cake and drinking lots of tea which is shared virtually with the residents family.

March At Clarendon Court

There's been lots of smiles and laughter at Clarendon Court. We've been relentlessly planning activities for our residents, and having a total mix of subjects means there should be something for everyone, we have also increased the need for one to one chat's and activity in the resident's room or lounge areas and are respecting residents who just want a quiet peaceful time.

Spring Bulb Planting

We are all very busy with our Spring Bulb Planting at Troutbeck. We will be updating our progress and flowering regularly.

Pancake Day

Celebrating pancake day, our residents really enjoyed pancakes made by our chef. Choice of topping include cream, golden syrup and traditional lemon.

Rock and Roll

This afternoon at Manorhey our residents enjoyed one of their favourite performers who entertained them with a variety of rock and roll classics via a virtual concert. The residents had a brilliant time dancing the afternoon away with residential friends and staff members.

Flower Arranging

Poppy did some beautiful flower arranging with the residents this afternoon. They helped put together a new tub of flowers for our conservatory. They certainly brighten up the room and are lovely to look at.
