Gardening Club at the Woodland

We started a gardening club on 24th April, our gardener Paul was very excited about this.

The people living with us planted over 40 sunflower seeds, we hope they all germinate so we can plant them in our lovely garden.

Arts and Crafts at Abingdon Court

At Abingdon Court, providing Arts in Care Homes is an integral part of our ethos when delivering our care. We are always ✨pursuing greatness✨ - you do not have to be artistic to benefit from the arts.

Today is the birthday of prolific and groundbreaking painter; Vincent Van Gogh. One might say it’s ambitious to try and recreate the famous Starry Night painting, but ambition is one of our core values here at Abingdon Court.

Sensory table at Abingdon

We love using our products from Relish alongside our OMI interactive table, helping us create ✨More… Sensory✨ moments in our home!

It’s important to take time to explore the senses, helping to stimulate the mind and bring joy to those living with dementia. As you can see, it also brings people together so we can build meaningful connections.
