Sewing with Pauline

Pauline moved into Monread Lodge in April for some respite as she had not been coping so well on her own. She still wanted to eventually try and go home as much as she loved being at Monread. Pauline decided to try and go home in June but she realised that she needed the tender loving care that she had received back at Monread Lodge and 6 hours later, she was back with us. One thing she missed was her sewing so we collected many items from her house to enable her to do this. Pauline has left side weakness due to a stroke so with help from the activities team, they now sew together with Pauline using her right side and activities lending the other hand.

Pauline plans to make many things and sell them when we can hopefully have our next big event which we really miss! She would also like to make some things and donate them to the community who so nicely donated many things to us during lockdown.
