Apples Galore

Our apple trees have really bloomed this year and so we decided to make Apple Cake and Apple Crumble

Lots of childhood memories and various stories of collecting apples came flooding back from the people living with us here at Appletree Court including ; remembering going scrumping in farm fields and wrapping up the prized apples in an apron as the farmer chased after use with a stick, climbing trees to find the biggest, eating as many apples as we could and going home with stomach ache, taking a day of school to pick apples and then getting caught and sent up to bed with no supper !
