Respite care homes
All our homes can offer respite care (subject to availability). This service allows carers to take a short break while the resident is looked after in a safe, comfortable environment. This service is like a mini holiday for the resident while their carer can enjoy peace of mind knowing that they are being cared for and looked after by professionals.
Residents may like to stay for one or two weeks, which will allow them to make friends with other residents and involve themselves in the many social activities going on within the home.
This service also affords the individual the opportunity to make an informed decision should he or she be considering permanent residency in a care home.
