On 20th April residents at Parksprings care home went to participate in a Canal cruise down at Kirkintilloch. Excitement could be felt as the residents climbed aboard the transport. Songs could be heard as we travelled down the motorway. Frank said is been 40 years since he set foot on a boat and we had got a good day for it. Mary sang and recited poems as the calm waters passed us by. Jean watched everything with great interest, Margaret said everyone’s so wonderful and friendly. Rena loved the calm motion of the boat as she tucked into her picnic. The afternoon was a huge success and Margaret’s booked another trip as she thought it was just wonderful. We would like to thank all the staff and crew from seagull trust for making it so special
