Welcome to Rosedale
Hi, my name is Ruth Sunter and I am Care Manager at Rosedale Care Home. I am pleased to manage this beautiful home and I look forward to the future that Rosedale holds.
I qualified as a nurse in 1995 and worked for 17 years in the Mental Health and Learning Disabilities sector. I have 8 years experience in management, 4 of those in Older Peoples Services.
I take an open and transparent approach towards the care home, promoting excellent care standards, good practice and effective communication, supervising staff, quality care and support services.
Rosedale Care Home is a 68 bedded home with 4 categories of care. We have nursing and residential in the main building. An annex known as the Hollies which caters for Dementia Residential and a purpose built building known as The Lodge which provides care for Dementia Nursing Care.
The buildings are situated in the centre of Catterick Garrison in their own beautiful grounds.
We have a range of skill mix with staff across the home including Registered General and Mental Health Nurses. All carers are trained to a high standard taking into consideration the needs of the residents. We work closely with other support services around us to ensure that the residents needs are met to a high standard.
Rosedale have many residents with different needs, we specialise in palliative and dementia care however welcome all residents what ever the category of care that they require.
If we can meet the needs of the resident then we can offer the resident a place to come and enjoy life, supporting their family to ensure that we work together as a team.
The home has a service responsive focus and drive to facilitate the delivery of quality, dignified, person-centered care, which embraces lifestyle and supports meaningful occupation.
