Rated as Good by CQC in January 2018, Rosedale is a versatile care facility offering nursing, residential and respite care, as well as dementia residential and nursing care.

Features at Rosedale include our stunning gardens, hair salon, en-suite bedrooms which overlook the beautiful grounds, and a cosy coffee shop supplying complimentary refreshments to residents and their guests.

As certified Investors in People, we offer the training and professional development needed to ensure they have the right people in each role, with a passion for care and the skills to deliver the high standards expected.

A full time Activities Coordinator provides a stimulating programme of creative and fun activities, entertainment, events and outings for residents to choose from, which also includes one-to-one sessions.

We were pleased with many of the positive observations the CQC noted in their report, including:

• There was a calm, positive atmosphere throughout our visit and we saw that people’s requests for assistance were answered promptly. Throughout the visit, the interactions we observed between staff and people who used the service were friendly, respectful, supportive and encouraging.

• Our observations indicated that people were able to spend their day as they wished. We saw some people involved in communal activities and others preferring to spend time in their rooms.

• People who lived at the home and their relatives told us they knew who the manager was and saw them regularly around the home; they confirmed they were approachable and responded to concerns and queries.
