We have two dedicated Activities Coordinators who provides a fun and varied activities programme, especially created for our residents.  We have regular outings to local places of interest including the library, park and garden centre.

Manor Park has a spacious lounge and dining area on each floor,  café area and a quiet lounge.  All bedrooms have en-suite facilities and bath and /or shower facilities are available. Our pleasant gardens has a comfortable seating area, allowing our residents the chance to sit back and relax, whilst enjoying the fresh air and socialising with friends and family.

Manor Park opened it’s new café, creating an area where residents can enjoy socialising with friends and family with a cup of tea and home baked cakes. The café is also a popular space used to celebrate resident’s birthdays, afternoon tea and coffee morning events.

Free wi-fi is available throughout the home for residents, families and visitors.

We are committed to continually improving and developing our services. A comprehensive action plan is in place to make improvements to the areas highlighted by the CQC during their inspection in March 2017.

We were pleased with many of the positive observations the CQC noted in their report, including:

• Staff were patient, kind and caring and they interacted positively with people.
•  Staff were passionate about their work and they were very proud to show what was happening in each unit. Staff said they ‘loved’ their work with people and we saw they were friendly and smiley, helping to create a happy atmosphere.
• People were offered good choices and supported well to make their own decisions.
• People’s independence was encouraged and staff enabled them to do as much as possible for themselves, whilst being on hand to support if needed.
